Pakistan Informal School

I am Tam Minahil and I am 13 years old. My father is a labourer and my mother works as a maid. We live in Village Khudpur.

In the past, there was no school in our village but I had always wanted to get an education. Unfortunately, it is difficult for a girl to travel long distances to the nearest school. When Care Channels started a school in our village, it gave me the opportunity to start my schooling.

Presently, my six siblings and I are attending the school. Although it seems late for me to learn how to read and to write, I am happy to have even begun this journey.
