In response to escalating food prices, inadequate supply of the right kind of food and to malnutrition, FAITH [Food Always In The Home] Gardens was launched in the Philippines to help poor families in their food supplies.

Faith garden is a simple, ‘do-able’ gardening project that can be sustained by household members themselves. The organic, zero-waste approach to backyard gardening, enables the growing of vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs in a 100-square meter plot of land, to feed a family of six. A portion of the land can also be used for poultry cum fish-pond farming. (back to top)
