CCI has helped in the setting up of cost-effective
computer labs in government schools, using
the open source software and thin-client technology.
IT-savvy personnel are invited to join CCI
on short-term field trips, to ensure continual

Value- added features
Other value-added features of this project
include the use of the computer lab as an
information center for farmers to check
current market prices, to ensure that they
are equitably paid by middle men. Farmers
can also access information on greenhouse,
pest control and fertilizers to help them
